Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our nursing team. You will provide patient care under supervision of RN and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on the night shift, 12-hour shifts, 7pm to 7:30am.

This role requires graduating from an accredited LPN program and Iowa licensure, with opportunities for education assistance, day-one benefits, competitive wages with night differential, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of Iowa.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet department needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient assessment and documents responses with the care team.
• Develops and implements care plans and discharge planning per policy.
• Delivers patient education based on RN-directed teaching plans.
• Communicates patient changes to the RN and multidisciplinary team.
• Supports staffing needs and maintains supplies as required.
• Participates in process improvement and maintains accurate records.
