Job summary

Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Night shifts (2/12s), 24 hours per week. The LPN provides direct patient care for medical/surgical patients under RN supervision, participates in education and staff meetings, and supports care coordination with the health team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, LPN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; nursing certification may be required.
• Active LPN license to practice in the state of employment.
• Minimum one year of medical/surgical nursing in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assist with patient needs following physician orders with RN oversight.
• Perform routine nursing procedures under RN supervision.
• Coordinate care with RN and other team members; inform changes in patient condition.
