Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a licensed practical nurse for part-time night shifts at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA.

You will provide direct patient care in home health settings under RN supervision, delivering high-quality care to medical/surgical patients. You will coordinate with the care team, educate patients and caregivers, and ensure accurate documentation while participating in staff education and meetings.

Qualifications

• LPN license required and BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of medical/surgical nursing in acute care preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time management.
• Proficient with Windows-based computers and home health software.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN direction in home health.
• Coordinate care with RN and team; update care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on self-care; document care in timely manner.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing education.
