Ryders Health Management is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time position. You will deliver resident-centered care at Aaron Manor, a skilled nursing facility in Chester, CT. The role involves direct nursing care and support for daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted LPN license in Connecticut.
• Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS (or equivalent) certification as required.
• Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Take and record residents’ vital signs.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Perform basic wound care and dressing changes.
• Collect specimens for lab tests as ordered.
• Document care provided and observations accurately.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
