Job summary
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment involves bedside care in Med-Surg, with IV/ BW certifications and a current BLS required.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of LPN Med Surg experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
- Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
- Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
- Support care plans and patient throughput.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
- Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
