Job summary

Optim is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for MedSurg on the 7pm-7am shift in Sylvania, GA. The role provides direct and indirect patient care under an RN, with emphasis on safety, accurate documentation and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has LPN licensure in GA, BLS certification, and up to 1 year of experience or completion of an accredited program; strong English communication and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN licensure in Georgia.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year work experience or completion of accredited LPN program.
• Successful completion of arrhythmia course.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of an RN, evaluates outcomes and documents care.
• Obtains EKGs and demonstrates knowledge of cardiac monitoring.
• Administers medications via IM, Subcu, IV, PO, rectally and other routes.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to safety standards.
