Required: LPN program completion, Georgia LPN license, BLS, 6 months to 1 year experience or completion of program, and arrhythmia coursework. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN licensure in the State of Georgia.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year work experience or completion of accredited LPN program.
• Successful completion of arrhythmia course.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a RN; evaluates outcomes and adjusts care accordingly.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments and ongoing reassessments according to policy.
• Administers medications via all routes (IM, Subcu, IV, PO, Rectally, Topically, Intradermally, inhalation).
• Obtains EKGs and demonstrates knowledge of cardiac monitoring; identifies dysrhythmias.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation including histories, conditions, treatments and changes.
• Maintains patient safety and reduces medical errors.
