Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN licensure in the State of Georgia.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year work experience or completion of LPN program.
• Successful completion of arrhythmia course.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Communicates with physicians and healthcare team about changes in patient condition.
• Administers medications by multiple routes as ordered.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments under the direction of RN.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation and charting.
• Ventilates patients as needed and monitors responses to treatment.
• Ensures patient safety and reduces clinical errors in the ED.
• Participates in ongoing education and CQI activities.
