Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med-Surg assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Night shifts, 12 weeks, with weekly pay and competitive compensation.

You will provide bedside care, monitor vitals, assist with medications and IV therapy, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to support care plans and patient throughput. EMR documentation and infection control are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of LPN Med Surg experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
