Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med Surg unit in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers Nights shifts with weekly pay and flexible opportunities to advance your nursing career.

Responsibilities include bedside care, monitoring patient status, medication administration, IV therapy, and collaboration with the care team. A current LPN/LVN license and BLS are required, with 6–12 months Med Surg experience preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license required and active.
• BLS certification current or upon hire.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of Med Surg LPN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control.
