Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shifts in a long-term care setting. The role provides nursing care under supervision, administering medications, and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ health and safety.

Qualifying LPNs must have an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license. Evening/weekend requirements apply; OT potential and sign-on incentives may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license.
• Experience requirements: 400 hours clinical across the lifespan or prior LPN experience at another facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medications, behavior, and diet.
• Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality with residents, families and care team.
