Job summary

Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will work under supervision with an interdisciplinary team, perform medication administration, and support residents’ health and safety according to the care plan.

The role requires an LPN license, with ND-specific IV therapy qualifications if applicable. This is a full-time, night-shift position offering a sign-on bonus and opportunities for OT.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required or equivalent.
• In North Dakota: IV therapy/management skills validated by Board-approved program or approved course.
• Must have completed a pre-licensure nursing program with clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN.
• Unencumbered LPN license and ongoing CEU/competency training as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision to residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor and document outcomes.
• Communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team; maintain confidentiality.
