Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shifts. The role involves providing professional nursing care to long-term care residents under supervision, with a potential sign-on incentive and weekend/holiday requirements.

Responsibilities include medication administration, care plan participation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN); associate degree preferred.
• IV therapy/management training per North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program with IV therapy or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the ND Board of Nursing.
• Pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the life span or minimum 400 hours as LPN at another facility; other requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision of RN/physician.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with health care professionals and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate clearly with residents and families and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN); associate degree preferred

IV therapy/management training per ND requirements (AASPN program with IV therapy or ND-approved IV course)

Pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours LPN experience
