Trinity Woods in Tulsa, OK is seeking an experienced LPN for full-time night shifts (7p–7a) on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday nights to support a resident-centered long-term care environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to federal/state regulations, and collaboration with staff to provide comprehensive care, dining, housekeeping and life-enrichment activities while maintaining dignity and safety for residents.

Qualificações

• Valid LPN license with Oklahoma Board of Nursing or valid compact license.
• Minimum of two (2) years work experience as a nurse in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Meets all state requirements for licensure as a practical nurse and Food Handling.
• Commitment to person-centered and resident-directed care is essential.
• Must have knowledge of federal and state regulations governing clinical care and nursing practice in long-term care.
• Must have demonstrated leadership qualities, supervisory skills, and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Completion of cross training for household activities, household housekeeping, household laundry and household homemaking, including food service and food handling required.

Responsabilidades

• Meets resident and household needs by actively assisting in all tasks to meet identified needs.
• Clinical responsibilities and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provides leadership to household staff to maintain policies and procedures for clinical practices and household management.
• Implements clinical policies and procedures ensuring safe, sanitary and efficient practices.
• Ensures documentation, medication administration, resident nursing care, safety and sanitation, staff development and resident rights are in compliance with facility standards.
• Fosters collaboration and communicates policies to household members with emphasis on resident/family relationships.
• Maintains working relationship with physicians and medical personnel for quality clinical care.
• Works with household team to meet needs and desires of residents.
• Dining Services: assists in preparing and serving snacks and meals; requires food handling certification.
• Assists elders who are unable to eat without support; facilitates mealtime conversations.
• Assists with kitchen-related activities for residents.
• Life Enhancement: plans and organizes social activities for residents and households.
• Supports social needs of residents through companionship and activities.
• Shares resident interests with household members through planned and spontaneous activities.
• Housekeeping: maintains clean spaces and supplies within the household.
• Coordinates with the homemaker to meet housekeeping needs.
• Laundry: assists with residents’ laundry and coordinates with homemaker.
