Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an LPN for night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) in Abingdon, VA. The role provides direct nursing care, supervises CNAs, and collaborates with physicians to ensure resident safety and well-being.

The ideal candidate holds a Virginia LPN license, has CPR certification, and brings strong clinical and leadership skills. Experience with wound care, med administration, and documentation is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
• Two years of experience as an LPN preferred.
• Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.
• Excellent clinical, customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing assistants and coordinates care during the shift.
• Administers and documents medications following five rights and infection control practices.
• Reports changes in resident condition to physicians and routes follow-up care.
• Completes nursing documentation accurately and timely.
• Performs wound care, phlebotomy and IV therapy as ordered.
• Participates in rounds and communicates with physicians, families and other staff.
