Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse (LPN) for a part-time night shift at our new residential facility in Rochester Hills, MI. You will provide direct nursing care under RN supervision in an inpatient substance use and mental health program.

Schedule: Part-time night shift, Thursdays, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (12 hours per week). We value clinical judgment, composure in emergencies, and growth in addiction and co-occurring care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current, active Michigan LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Competency in medication administration, documentation, and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nursing assessments and admission documentation within 24 hours of admission, reviewed by an RN.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed within scope of practice.
• Monitor patients' medical status and report changes promptly.
• Assist in emergencies and address safety concerns, including suicide risk, with RN/provider oversight.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders, including verbal orders when permitted.
