Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse (LPN) to join the founding team at our new residential treatment facility in Rochester Hills, Michigan. You will work under supervision of an RN and medical provider, delivering direct nursing care in an inpatient substance use and mental health program, including medically supervised withdrawal management.

This role requires sound clinical judgment, calmness in emergencies, and a commitment to growing in addiction and co-occurring

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from a practical nursing program required.
• Active Michigan LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Competency in medication administration and EHR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments and admissions documentation within 24 hours.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' medical status and report changes.
• Assist in emergencies and escalate safety concerns.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders; support controlled substances processes.
• Document care in the EHR per licensure and accreditation standards.
