Job summary

ClearSky Health in Lecanto, FL is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for the 6p-6a night shift to provide general nursing care under supervision and in line with physician orders and hospital protocols.

Qualifications

2+ years experience in inpatient hospital setting
Current state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

Implements orders for medications and treatments as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing care plan written by the RN
Participates in evaluation of intervention effectiveness and seeks guidance when needed
Assists in identifying patient learning needs and reinforces self-care techniques
Reports to supervisor on patient care and issues, designates charges to patients in hospital system
Identifies patient problems and risks and contributes to intervention development
Maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
Assesses safety risks and implements precautions
Complies with safety and Infection Prevention standards
