Job Summary

The ClearSky Rehabilitation team in Lecanto, FL is hiring a full‑time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shift (6p.m. – 6a.m.) to provide general nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and following physician orders and established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement medication orders and treatments as prescribed by physicians and as outlined in the nursing care plan.
• Participate in the evaluation of intervention effectiveness and seek guidance when needed.
• Assist in identifying patients’ learning needs and reinforce self‑care techniques.
• Report to supervisor on patient care, issues, and resolution, including accurate charge designation using the hospital system.
• Identify patient problems and potential risks, contributing to the development of interventions.
• Provide an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Assess risks for safety and implement appropriate precautions.
• Comply with approved safety and infection‑prevention standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting (inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred).
• Current state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN).
• Current CPR certification.
