Job summary

ClearSky Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts in their Lecanto, FL rehabilitation hospital. The successful candidate will provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and follow physician’s orders. A minimum of two years’ inpatient hospital experience is preferred, along with a current LPN license and BLS certification. Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in inpatient hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and infection prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing care to patients as ordered by the physician.
• Implements orders for medications and treatments according to care plans.
• Reports on patient care rendered and problems concerning patients’ needs.

Skills

Knowledge of current nursing theory and practice

Effective organizational and time management skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrates critical thinking skills

Education

Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Current BLS certification
