Job summary

Novant Health’s Medicine II Innovation Unit in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts. You will provide hands-on nursing care under RN supervision in a high-acuity medical-surgical population within an innovation-focused unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• LPN license in state of North Carolina; CPI certification within 3 months and NC curricula in emergencies within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care in collaboration with and under the supervision of an RN.
• Care for patients with a variety of medical conditions and clinical needs.
• Partner with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate care.
• Build acute-care skills while working in an innovation-focused environment.
• Participate in rotating weekends and holidays with no on-call requirement.
