Novant Health Community Hospital of Stokes in Danbury, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) in a 10-bed Medical-Surgical unit. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate families while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Current state LPN license.
• CPI certification within 3 months for Behavioral Health units.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and manage patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders.
• Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Support patients in achieving recovery goals while promoting safety and quality outcomes.
