Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an RN for the Medicine II Innovation Unit at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. This full-time day shift role offers a 36-hour work week, a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule, and a weekend/holiday rotation with no on-call requirement.

You will care for a diverse medical-surgical patient population and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve nursing workflows.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN licensure required.
• One year relevant nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population.
• Assess, plan, coordinate, and deliver individualized nursing care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Utilize technology and clinical tools to enhance patient care and nursing workflows.
• Educate and support patients and families during the hospital stay.
• Participate in rotating weekends and holidays with no on-call requirement.
