Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team for the 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift at our long-term care and rehabilitation community in Florida. This full-time position focuses on direct nursing care, medication administration, and resident well-being.

The ideal candidate will maintain regulatory compliance, collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, therapists, and families to promote positive resident outcomes, and uphold infection

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident care activities.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support resident recovery goals.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing long-term care.
