Job summary
Fountain View Nursing & Rehabilitation in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our full-time team (7 PM–7 AM) at the Silverton-area facility. This role supports residents overnight and collaborates with CNAs to maintain a safe, high-quality care environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, independent, and passionate about compassionate, resident-centered care.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Ohio.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage overnight responsibilities.
- Leadership and ability to supervise nursing assistants.
- Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and assess resident conditions throughout the night and respond to changes appropriately
- Accurately document care, incidents, and overnight observations
- Provide wound care, vital signs monitoring, and clinical support
- Supervise and support CNAs to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions between shifts
- Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment for residents overnight
