Responsibilities

• Admissions, discharge and transfers of residents.
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians.
• Medication administration.
• Follow infection control, emergencies and center policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for best outcomes.
• Identify and report abnormal changes per center policy.
• Work under supervision per Nurse Practice Act and policies.
• Deliver nursing care for long-term or rehabilitative residents.
• Collect data, make observations and report pertinent information.
• Implement care plans per state regulations and evaluate responses.
• Direct and supervise care by other nursing personnel when needed.
• Maintain documentation requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment setup and use.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient rights.
