Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Alaska LPN license.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Observe, compile and report patient needs across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge planning.
• Contribute to plan of care under RN direction, including discharge planning and input from patient and family.
• Implement care per physician orders and nursing plan, within scope of practice.
• Document observations and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
• Communicate status of patients to the care team and coordinate with interdisciplinary members.
• Assist with admission processes and ensure compliant documentation and customer service.
