Job summary

Mountain Valley Hospice in Dobson, NC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for inpatient units on the night shift (7 PM–7 AM). You’ll provide essential care to ensure comfort and peace for our patients and support families during end-of-life transitions.

The role includes administering medications, monitoring vitals, and collaborating with the healthcare team to tailor care plans. Three twelve-hour shifts weekly with every third weekend, plus a strong emphasis on compassionate,

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Experience in skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A heart for compassionate care and a dedication to supporting families during end-of-life transitions.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care, including administering medications, treatments, and monitoring vital signs throughout the night.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs and wishes.
