Job summary

Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our In-Patient Unit in Dobson, NC for night shifts. You will deliver direct nursing care to terminally ill patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and guide CNAs to ensure compassionate, high-quality care.

Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7 PM–7 AM) with every third weekend; requires RN license and strong communication, empathy, and time management.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse License.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing and supportive care to terminally ill patients with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and guide CNAs in delivering high-quality care.
• Monitor changes in patient conditions and communicate findings to the care team.
