Job summary

LifeStream Behavioral Center in Leesburg, FL is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinical team. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and help implement individualized care plans in a behavioral health setting.

The ideal candidate has an LPN license in Florida, at least six years of experience, and strong skills in crisis intervention, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting minimum standards of the Florida State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least 6 years of experience as an LPN, preferably in behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and report changes.
• Assist in development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards.
