Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Etna, OH is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee salaried and hourly staff, payroll, and daily operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will drive profitability by analyzing P&L, coordinating with management and customers, and enforcing safety standards.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities on a Sunday-Thursday 11pm–7am schedule. Benefits include health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED, plus a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or supply chain.
• 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• 2+ years of direct reports management experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation/warehouse operations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage salaried and hourly staff performance, resolve issues, ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with management and customers to align on needs and expectations.
• Oversee payroll for employees and ensure accurate processing.
• Analyze weekly/monthly P&L and provide reports to senior management.
• Handle accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing; lead safety meetings.
