Job summary

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain that supervisors and associates are trained and competent and understand how their work relates to customers' objectives.
• Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable.
• Interview hourly associates and provide hire recommendations.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance standards and coach associates.
• Motivate and engage associates by focusing on team accomplishments and recognition.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading, dispatch and documentation control.
• Conduct team meetings and evaluate changes to increase productivity.
• Provide relief coverage for operational duties when necessary.
• Understand site's operating systems to ensure compliance and resolve exceptions.
