Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Night Shift Extrusion Operator (Construction) to safely run extrusion lines, monitor quality, and maintain a clean, organized work area within a factory setting.

You will support setup, troubleshoot issues, and assist with training while following safety policies and company procedures. This on-site role requires standing for long periods and wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with demonstrated mechanical knowledge.
• Experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a noisy factory setting and wear PPE as required.

Responsabilités

• Follows all safety procedures and protocols.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Set up, clean, and maintain tools (dies, calibrators, tanks, templates).
• Troubleshoots extrusion related issues.
• Maintains materials for each extrusion line.
• Ensures scrap and efficiency meet company standards.
• Checks and maintains quality.
• Assist Product Inspectors with duties when able.
• Complete checklists and paperwork as required.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Communicate professionally with co-workers and supervisors about safety concerns.
