Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a forklift operator to support our manufacturing and distribution operations in North Carolina. The role emphasizes safe forklift operation, accurate material handling, and timely loading of customers and shipments.

Responsibilities include pallet movement, unloading, yard inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while delivering reliable service to customers and ensuring scheduled loads occur without delay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform, or other device under/over/around pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials.
• Transport materials to designated area.
• Unload and stack materials.
• Inventory materials on yard.
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision to ensure customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay.
