Job summary

O'Neal Steel LLC has a Loader opening for the Ambridge, PA facility on the 3rd shift. You will load and unload material using forklifts, cranes, and other handling equipment, ensuring compliance with DOT weight regulations and safety standards.

The role requires operating various material handling equipment, performing loading duties primarily, and maintaining accuracy of orders. A background check and drug test are part of the employment process for this position.

Qualifications

• Operate wide range of material handling equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, stacker.
• Read a tape measure accurately.
• Provide high-quality work to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, overhead crane (95%), stacker crane, forklift, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Critical thinking for planning and problem-solving.
• Maintain safe and organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Verify material, quantity, packaging and special instructions for each order shipped.
• Perform loading duties 70% of the time or greater.
• Use hand tools like grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Learn and retain product knowledge and rigging procedures.
