Job summary

O'Neal Steel is hiring a 3rd shift Loader for our Ft. Wayne, IN facility. The role loads and unloads material, using forklifts, cranes, conveyors and hand tools to move goods within the warehouse.

Candidates must operate multiple handling systems, follow established guidelines, and maintain safety. Overtime may be required; background check and drug test are required for employment consideration.

Qualifications

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including forklift and cranes.
• Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to load multi-stop orders and meet weight regulations.
• Read and verify order details, quantities, and instructions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and organized work areas.
• Able to pass criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material within a warehouse environment.
• Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, cranes, conveyors, spotter trucks and trailers.
• Ensure accurate material, quantity, and packaging for each order.
• Maintain knowledge of product handling and rigging procedures.
• Respect safety guidelines and keep a clean, safe workspace.
• Overtime will be required as needed.
