Job summary

O'Neal Steel in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to load and unload materials and move them within a warehouse using forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors and other equipment. The role requires reading a tape measure, operating a variety of tools, and following established guidelines to ensure high-quality output for customers.

Overtime may be required, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklift, overhead crane and stacker crane.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to use hand tools such as grinder, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material within a warehouse.
• Move material to and from trucks or trains and within storage using equipment.
• Follow established guidelines and ensure quality for internal/external customers.
• Work the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) with overtime as needed.
