Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Linehaul Driver to move freight between service centers and designated points. You will operate a tractor-trailer, verify dispatch instructions, and ensure loads match documents in all weather conditions.

Qualifications include a CDL A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements, at least 6 months of driving experience, and the ability to read and write in English. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English; perform simple mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight between Southeast’s Service Center or designated points in-between.
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination (single or double) in urban, suburban, and rural areas in all types of weather conditions.
• Receive and verify dispatch instructions and verify load against shipping documents.
• When hauling hazardous material, verify the hazardous material product description and ensure proper placarding.
• Perform duties with a focus on superior customer service and professionalism.
