Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Linehaul Driver in Fredericksburg, VA. You will transport freight between service centers and designated points, operating tractor-trailer combinations and ensuring loads match documents.

Third shift with pay by the mile and emphasis on safety and customer service. Candidate must be at least 21, have 6 months driving experience, a valid CDL-A with Hazmat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and pass background and drug tests and DOT qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL A with Hazmat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have 6 months driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Valid Driver's License and CDL A.
• Ability to read, understand, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight between service centers and designated points.
• Operate a tractor-trailer (single or double) in urban, suburban, and rural areas.
• Receive and verify dispatch instructions and load against documents.
• Verify hazmat product descriptions and proper placarding as needed.
• Maintain safety and customer service professionalism.
