Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Linehaul Driver to transport freight between service centers and designated points. You will operate tractor-trailer combinations in diverse areas and verify loads against documents, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires 21+ years old, 6 months driving experience, a valid CDL-A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements, and the ability to read/write English and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass background check and alcohol/drug test.
• Valid Driver's License and CDL-A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements.
• Able to read/write English and perform basic math.
• Must meet DOT physical qualifications and pass tests.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight between Southeastern’s Service Center or designated points.
• Operate a tractor-trailer (single or double) in varied terrain and weather.
• Verify dispatch instructions and load against shipping documents.
• Ensure proper placarding and safety when hauling HazMat.
