Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Wayne, MI is hiring a Line Mechanic for the 10:30pm–7:00am shift. This full-time role focuses on setting up the production line for the fill room, hooking totes to pump, and preparing equipment for the day's run.

You will perform line set-up including marble dropper, fill heads, crimpers, and gassing heads, ensure proper washouts, verify can specifications, and monitor weights and valves during operation. A high school diploma or equivalent and production experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working in a production environment is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete set up of line, including marble dropper, fill heads, crimpers, and gassing heads.
• Ensure washouts are done correctly and in a timely manner.
• Proper filter in filter housing and can specifications match product information sheet.
• Fill weights checked and maintained during operation.
• Crimpers are inspected and operating properly; gas weights monitored and corrected when needed.
• Perform visual checks on all grounds including gashouse.
