Job summary

QuestSpecialty Corporation is hiring a Line Mechanic for the 10:30pm–7:00am shift in Wayne, MI. The role involves setting up the line for daily production, connecting totes, operating equipment like marble droppers, fill heads, and crimpers, and ensuring proper washouts and labeling.

You will also monitor weights, valves, and gas weights during operation. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in production environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a production environment preferred
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing equipment operation

Responsibilities

• Perform complete setup of line: Marble Dropper, Fill Heads, Fill Weights, Valve Dropper and Locators, Crimpers, Gassing Station, Can Rails, washouts, filters, and label/storage of waste.
• During operation: Fill weights checked, Crimpers inspected, verify valves, monitor gas weights, and perform visual checks on grounds including gashouse.
