The position requires experience in Editing/Writing/English Lit or Journalism, a high school diploma or higher, and the ability to start ASAP. Schedule: Mon-Fri evenings; pay $23.08/hr plus $3 shift differential and benefits.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Editing and/or Writing and/or English Literature or Journalism.
• Proven ability to edit complex legal documents with accuracy.
• Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style guides.

Responsibilities

• Proofread complex legal documents for spelling, grammar, and style accuracy.
• Compare documents word for word against originals for accuracy.
• Review cross-references, terms, and authorities for consistency and style.
• Check revisions and markups against drafts to ensure all corrections are made.
• Ensure content is clear, complete, and logically organized.
