Job summary

Staples is seeking a warehouse associate to support six areas, including Bulk Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping. You may move among roles as needed while upholding safety procedures.

Shifts run 9:00pm-5:00am, Sunday-Thursday. You’ll operate forklifts and related equipment to move 70–100 lb items, unload trucks, and ensure accurate packing and shipping practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• If hired as a Full-Time associate, ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick and move product up to 100 lbs within the warehouse, following safety procedures.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties as needed while adhering to safety procedures.
• Move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures; not all tasks require equipment.
• Confirm product accuracy and address discrepancies; communicate with internal and external contacts to resolve issues.
• Unload trucks and palletize products; ship/receive and put away items as assigned.
• Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets; load trucks manually with care.
