Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate material handling equipment and perform multiple warehouse functions across six areas. You may move between roles like Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, and Shipping as needed, with focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires standing/walking continuously, lifting 70–100 lbs, and compliance with safety gear. Shifts run 7:00pm-3:30am, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime and full-time/part-time

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours will be required based on business need.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Able to lift/push/pull 70–100 lbs by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move product up to 100 lbs within the warehouse.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance while following safety procedures.
• Support replenishment by moving product within the warehouse with equipment.
• Assist receiving/putaway/returns, verify accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle returns by matching quantities/descriptions to packing slips and moving items.
• Organize, stack, shrink-wrap customer orders, and load trucks safely.
