Job summary

Spring Grove Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Lead RN for the overnight shift. You will lead a nursing team, provide hands-on clinical support, and mentor staff while ensuring high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS CPR, and at least two years of nursing experience in healthcare. Supervisory experience is not required as leadership training is provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey required.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Leadership training provided; prior supervision not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of long‑term care regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders, care plans, and nursing standards.
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff across shifts.
• Coordinate daily nursing operations to ensure quality resident care and staffing.
• Monitor resident status and communicate changes to physicians and leadership.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per regulatory and facility requirements.
• Support infection prevention, safety, and nursing policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Assist with orienting and training new nursing staff.
