Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist for Unity Hospital to provide leadership during night shifts, oversee staff workloads, and ensure high-quality respiratory care across the department.

The successful candidate will mentor clinicians, help develop care policies, and maintain required licensure and credentials. Associate degree in Respiratory Care is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred; NYS RT license and NBRC RRT are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Care is required.
• New York State Respiratory Therapist license with current registration.
• 2 years of full-time critical care experience in respiratory care required; pro-rated for part-time/Per diem.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for all essential functions listed for the Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Maintain high clinical standards in assessment, administration, education, and observation of respiratory therapy as ordered by Providers.
• Provide direct oversight, assistance, support, and problem resolution to Respiratory Staff during assigned shift.
