Job summary

Temple-Health in Philadelphia is seeking a Lead Patient Care Assistant for Nursing Administration on the 11 PM–7 AM shift. You will lead the PCA team, coordinate daily workflow, mentor staff, and serve as a liaison between the Nurse Leader and RNs while maintaining direct patient care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3 years in patient care, and Basic Life Support. Preferred CMA or CNA certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program or completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing program Preferred
• 3 years of experience in a patient care role Required
• Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead PCA coordinates daily workflow and staffing assignments.
• Mentors new and existing PCAs and promotes adherence to quality standards.
• Acts as communication link between Nurse Leader, Registered Nurses and PCA team.
• Provides operational support to improve efficiency, consistency, staff engagement and patient experience.

Education
