Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia is seeking a Patient Care Assistant - NRO for the 40-hour night shift. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, assisting with activities of daily living and monitoring patient condition.

Responsibilities include measuring vital signs, performing ECGs, noting changes, and ensuring safety and comfort. Candidates should have a high school diploma, BLS, and nursing assistant or MA training; 1 year of patient care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or completion of at least one clinical rotation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of the RN.
• Measures vital signs, performs ECGs, and capillary blood glucose as needed.
• Observes equipment, treatments, dressings, and changes in patient condition.
• Adheres to hospital policies and patient confidentiality; supports customer service program.
