Job summary

Promises/Washburn House in Worcester, MA is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse for our 3rd shift (11pm–7am) to deliver professional client care and supervise medical staff in detoxification, residential and mental health settings. The role requires current RN license and a strong background in behavioral health.

You will train staff on medication administration, monitor supplies, participate in audits, and ensure compliance with PBH guidelines.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Current, valid RN license)
• Minimum 3–5 years in behavioral health or residential detox programming preferred
• Completion of accredited RN program required; higher degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training and observation of medication administration.
• Monitor medical device inventory and assist with supplies ordering.
• Assist DON with audits, staffing coverage, and monthly nursing meetings.
• Triage medical concerns and administer medications/injections as directed by provider.
• Ensure nursing notes are properly recorded and maintained.
